Chicano and Latino Studies Department @ California State University, Long Beach
The department seeks to help students succeed in their University studies and prepare for professional careers. The department provides students with scholarships to study in Mexico and Latino America, enabling students to improve their Spanish-language fluency, increase their knowledge of contemporary Latin American cultures and of the vital interrelationships between California’s Latino populations and their communities of origin.
CETLALIC, the most progressive Spanish language immersion school in Mexico, is located in the “City of Eternal Spring,” Cuernavaca. CETLALIC offers small Spanish classes and homestays with Mexican families in a community-minded environment.

The Museo Nacional de las Culturas is a national museum in Mexico City dedicated to education about the world's cultures, both past and present. It is housed in a colonial-era building that used to be the mint for making coins.
The California-Mexico Studies Center has partnered with Alyson Studios to produce the CMSC's audiovisual projects such as documentaries, video productions, graphic design, photography, and social media interactive content.
